Margarita: The classic margarita is made with 2oz. Tequila, 1oz. Lime juice and 1oz. Cointreau. What pairs well with a margarita? Tequila shot!
Kir Royale: I discovered this drink hanging out at the lobby bar at the Iberostar Quetzal in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It’s one of my all time favorites! It’s 3oz. Champagne, 1/3oz. Creme de cassis.

Mimosa: The perfect breakfast drink! Some people might like bloody mary’s, but not this girl! I am all for a mimosa in the morning while on vacation. It’s so simple, but so delicious: 2 1/2oz. Champagne and 2 1/2oz. Orange juice.

Mojito: This is one of my husband’s favorites; light and refreshing! 1 1/2oz White rum, 6 mint leaves, Soda water, 1oz. Lime juice, 2 tsp. Sugar.
Vodka Soda: This is one of those drinks I enjoy at home, usually with flavored soda water, but I do enjoy it on vacation as well. I don’t like to drink fruity or sugary drinks all day long, so this is a great alternative. The recipe is simple: Soda water, vodka and a lime (optional).

Mai Thai: Here’s a great tropical fruity drink that screams “You’re on vacation!” 1 1/2oz. White rum, 1/2oz. Lime juice, 1/2oz. Orange curacao, 1/2oz. Orgeat syrup, 3/4oz. Dark rum.
Pina Colada: This is another popular drink people think of when they think about vacation drinking. It’s made with 3oz. Pineapple juice, 1oz. White rum, 1oz. Coconut cream.
Tequila Sunrise: I had forgotten just how good these are! 3oz. Orange juice, 1 1/2oz. Tequila, 1/2oz. Grenadine syrup. Yummy!

Chocolate Martini: These are so good! I call them the theatre drink. I call it this because my husband loves to drink them while watching the show at night. They are definitely a dessert in a glass with 1 1/2oz. Chocolate Liqueur, 1/2oz. Vodka, 1 1/2oz. Creme da Cacao, 2 1/2oz. Heavy Cream.
